                  Prospective Appointment of Nominated Adviser


Central African Gold Plc, the AIM listed gold mining and exploration company,
announces that it is in discussions with several prospective Nominated Advisers
and hopes to announce an appointment within the next few days.

The Company also announces that its shares will not be de-listed on 27 May 2006
as previously announced, but will remain suspended.
