                     BROKER NETWORK HOLDINGS PLC (AIM:BNH)

               ACQUISITION OF MID-PENNINE INSURANCE SERVICES LTD


Broker Network Holdings plc ("Broker Network" or "the Company"), the network
organisation for independent community insurance brokers, is today pleased to
announce the acquisition of Mid-Pennine Insurance Services Ltd ("Mid-Pennine").

The acquisition of Mid-Pennine is in line with Broker Network's intention to
acquire Members whose principals are looking to exit or retire. This is the
seventh acquisition by the Company since the beginning of 2004.

The final purchase price of Mid-Pennine is entirely dependant upon the
performance of the purchased business over the next 24 months. Broker Network
expects its total outlay to be no less than #250,000 and no more than #310,000.
Broker Network has acquired the trade and assets of Mid-Pennine which last year
reported revenue of #206,000.

Mr Richard Guthrie will continue to manage the office based in Todmorden,
Lancashire and all staff have been retained along with the Mid-Pennine name. As
with all acquired Members, Mid-Pennine will use the Acturis common electronic
trading platform recommended by Broker Network.
