DIRECTORS SHAREHOLDING

The Company was notified today that Jacques Gaston Murray, a Director of the
Company, has sold 5,000 ordinary 20p shares at a market price of 93 pence per
share. The sale took place on Friday 8 February 2002. Mr Murray now has an
interest in 51,310,257 ordinary shares in the Company representing 69.87 per
cent. of the current issued share capital.
