Transaction in own shares

The Company announces that on 23 June 2008 it purchased 150,000 of its own
Ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of �0.923333 per share. The shares were
re-purchased for holding in treasury.

Following repurchase the Company has 7,771,000 Ordinary shares held in
treasury. The number of shares in issue remains 89,724,381. The number of
shares in issue, less those held in treasury, is 81,953,381.
