The Company announces that, following a purchase of 3,116 shares on 23 March
2007 and 1 share on 26 March 2007 by Mrs Christine Pearmund, the wife of Mr John
Pearmund, a Director of the Company, Mr Pearmund's interest was 26,304 Ordinary
10p shares in the Company (representing 0.03% of the issued Ordinary shares).

The shares were purchased by Halifax on Mrs Pearmund's behalf at prices of �
1.2675 and �1.267 respectively. All the shares are held in an ISA.
