American Leisure Group ("ALG" or "the Company") announces that Sir David Garrard
has indicated his intention to step down as Chairman of the Company with
immediate effect.  Sir David will remain a non executive director of the
Company.  Sir David has made the decision to step down as a result of the
increasing time required in relation to his other commercial undertakings.

David Mace, who is currently a non executive director of the Company, will
become the non executive Chairman.  David has been involved in developing
businesses internationally over the last 25 years. In 1987, he led the
management buyout of Sea Life Centre (Holdings) Ltd, through to its subsequent
flotation in 1992 as Vardon Plc, the leisure group.  He was a non executive
director of Centre Parcs (U.K.) Group Plc.  He has also served as a
non-executive director of private and venture capital backed companies in France
and the UK and has also acted as management consultant to businesses in Europe,
the Far East and New Zealand. He is a non-executive director of Lookers plc,
Inspired Gaming Group Plc, Vectrix Corporation and BlueStar SecuTech Inc.
