Appointment of a Director
Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC ("Alfa" or the "Company"),
a leading developer of mission critical software for the asset
finance industry, announces that David Stead has joined the Board
as an independent, non-executive director with immediate
effect.
A qualified accountant, David spent the early part of his career
with KPMG and then The Boots Company, where he served as Finance
Director for the main trading division, Boots The Chemists. He was
CFO of Dunelm Group plc from 2003 to 2015. Current non-executive
appointments include Card Factory plc (since 2014), Joules Group
plc (since 2016) and Naked Wines plc (since 2017). David chairs the
Audit Committee at Card Factory plc, Naked Wines plc and Joules
Group plc, and is senior Non-Executive Director at Joules Group
plc. David was also a member of Council at the University of
Birmingham from 2015 to 2019, and is a regular facilitator on
leadership development programmes run by Windsor Leadership.
David will immediately join the Audit and Risk, Remuneration and
Nomination committees of the Board and will take over from Karen
Slatford as chair of the Remuneration Committee following the
announcement of the Company's half-year results.
The Company confirms there are no further disclosures to be made
in connection with David Stead's appointment pursuant to paragraph
9.6.13 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.
