NS8 Corporation (OTCBB:NSEO) announces that its digital media distribution division, iWave Interactive Systems, has signed a multi-year content distribution and alliance agreement with Acme Mobile Pte Ltd., one of Asia's premiere distributors of mobile entertainment products. Acme Mobile supplies games, images, karaoke's and other mobile content to over 500 million mobile subscribers across 11 Asian countries. Acme Mobile will provide its mobile and broadband content to iWave for distribution to its carrier partners and direct consumers in Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines. "There are a lot of interesting Internet services competing for this digital content market, but I have not seen a service platform as unique and exciting as what iWave offers. The iWave mobile music downloads will also include popular Asian-based artists such as Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng and Stefanie Sun. In addition, Acme Mobile will provide iWave with over 1000 images and animations to choose from, as well as wallpapers and custom image downloads in English and Chinese. According to Screen Digest, the worldwide market for mobile games was worth approximately $996 million in 2004 and was expected to increase to $2.0 billion by the end of 2005. Asia Pacific accounted for 52% of the worldwide mobile games and accessories market in 2004. LogicaCMG reports that games, ring tones, images, screensavers and music were among the top five most downloaded products in 2005, with the highest consumption being in Asia. Informa Telecoms & Media projects that total global revenue from mobile downloads will increase to $11.2 billion by 2010.
