Hopefully for all of us it's not due to bankruptcy. The expert market might be a dark hole, but we are still alive.

In bankruptcy shareholders would receive nothing at all. Maybe there's hope after all.

My pleasure....glad you asked the question.
Have you noticed that my simple breakdown has gone unchallenged?

Where are they?
Wouldn't Leo file for Chapter 11 protection if he thought the Company was worth protecting?

“ So, if the worst case for IPIX comes to pass, it would still leave a great deal of equity ownership in BeaMed.”

Doubt it. Valuing shares in a privately held foreign company is a tricky art, especially when that company is months if not years behind their own announced launch schedule for their me-too medical device.

I doubt that the fire sale of IPIX’ BeaMed shares will even cover the roughly $2 million they now owe Cummings.

Thanks for the breakdown.

I suspect the lawyers may have demanded what they thought would be full payment upfront. They certainly would have known what type of businessman Leo was.

Then, of your three options, I suspect the order of operations was:

1) Took salary until out of cash (perhaps left a small amount in reserve)
2) Out of cash.
👍️ 1
loanranger loanranger 6 days ago
Since you asked: The last time the Company provided a Balance Sheet was as of 9/30/23 and the cash balance was $864,000.
LE's salary was $475,000/yr at that time and no change to that rate has been reported. He also received $50,000 in Director fees in the previous fiscal year but for this purpose I'm leaving them out.
$475,000/yr = $39,583/mo.
10/1/23 - 1/31/25 = 16 months
16 x $39,583 = $633,333
$864k - $633k = $231K

If he has continued to take his salary they have ALREADY run out of money given that:

1. EmployeR portion of payroll taxes would have had to have been been paid.
2. There were liabilities due on 9/30/23 that can be seen here:
https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/1355250/000147793223008688/ipix_10q.htm
3. Jane Harness has had a salary of $275,000/yr.
4. Any reason to think that the lawyers handling the Cummings case are working pro bono?
5. Obviously there are some minor ongoing expenses. Phones may not be getting answered and the website may not be getting updated but neither have been shut down for nonpayment.

The possibilities are:
1. LE & JH stopped taking salaries at some point.
2. The Company is out of cash.
3. Both.

ps. JH officially gone?

Update on the IPIX appeal. Below is from the Appeals Court website:

02/18/2025 Notice sent seeking information on unavailability for oral argument in April 2025
02/19/2025 #21 Response from Daniel J. Dwyer, Esquire re: unavailable for oral argument April 15, 16.
02/19/2025 Response from Michael Barker, Esquire re: available all dates for oral argument..
The judgment interest is accruing at over $750 per day. In August, the court granted Cummings a lien on IPIX's stake in BT BeaMedical. If IPIX loses the appeal, the funds to pay the judgment will come from its BeaMedical holdings.

Awfully cocky words given a $.0001 share price, a Company that refuses to provide any current information and a CEO who is in the wind.
Any example of other companies who have come out of those circumstances to make their shareholders whole?

Correct. You don't know. "I don't know of any evidence that they have made any SUBSTANTIAL progress in developing the Stingray System."
There is little doubt that the war with Hamas has delayed BeaMed's progress, but with the amazing track record of the co-founders, the likelihood of their success is quite high. All that you have been able to come up with via discouraging commentary is another feeble attempt by conflating the disappointments of IPIX and project that onto BeaMed. It makes no sense at all.

Not sure what you mean. BeaMed has shown their business savvy by somehow getting $4m worth of blood from the stone that you have invested in.
As to their science, I don't know of any evidence that they have made any SUBSTANTIAL progress in developing the Stingray System that was the basis for that donation.
I merely listed the previous IPIX disappointments, all of which you had equally glowing hopes for, in order to lay out the Company's track record. Sadly, this blind squirrel has never stumbled over a nut and there's little reason to think it has this time.

I didn't say that MeaMed is doomed to fail but only pointed out that that result would be consistent with this Company's prior endeavors.

Just ask Mr. Ehrlich.

Mr. Ehrlich is just refusing to fulfil his legal and fiduciary obligations. I have come to expect nothing less.

But I had hoped his marks would have come to their sense by now - but perhaps they're actually Ehrlich's paid sock puppets masquerading as the worst investors in the world in order to run interference for him?

After all, Ehrlich did gift $4 million of shareholders' money to some off-shore outfit run by his buddies before he did his moonlight flit. A few cents per message to his pimps is nothing to him.

Your response is a feeble attempt to taint BeaMed Technologies, LTD with the past history of an entirely separate company. Your response tells me that you could not come up with anything to criticize about BeaMed, so you inferred a meaningless prediction that MeaMed is somehow doomed to fail. Pathetic.

loanranger's first post on this MB was on 12/9/2012.

That was 636 weeks ago. That means that on average he has posted around 16 times a week, or just over twice a day. Hardly an excessive rate of posting.

Every one of his posts has had some substance and he has rarely been wrong.

You and other supporters of IPIX would have done well to have taken heed of his posts.

“ Pretend you are trying to convince your favorite, yet vengeful, relative to invest in this garbage.”

We know from past posts that far from pretence, many folks who fell for this scam persuaded friends and family to “invest” along with them, and also blew substantial sums of money including college funds because of the lies of Ehrlich and his sock puppets ( we all know which particular wolves in sheep’s clothing, bean costumes and owl feathers they are).

The family splits, squandered college funds and ruined retirements we can chalk up to IPIX may also account for the absolute failure to embrace reality and face the truth evinced by so many of Ehrlich’s marks.

As Carl Sagan remarked:

“ One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

What is there to be positive about? The CEO and only person involved with this disaster has vanished, he has completely abandoned shareholders after all his hype and lies, zero filings and a misleading/abandoned website, the stock is in a dust bowl and sits at .0001, the once hyped-up drug pipeline is gone, and there is no cash to survive. Reality is hard to accept when the loses are so great for some.

The age-old paradox: ‘I rarely post, but here I am, posting to tell you how much I rarely post.’ And not only that, you’ve taken on the noble duty of representing the silent, unseen IPIX masses by the hundreds! If only there were a way for them to, I don’t know… post their own thoughts. But alas, we must rely on your brave dispatches from the land of the unspoken.

We get that message boards can be frustrating, and sometimes people don’t get agree. But if your grand protest is to ‘rarely post’ while still showing up to make speeches, maybe it’s not the board that’s the problem, it’s just you looking for a villain to blame. Thus the empty bag you’re blinded by. The true villain goes unblamed and holds all the $. He just walked away.
