Green Star Products, Inc. (OTC:GSPI) announced today that research
institutes, universities and commercial companies from five
continents have agreed to join Green Stars global algae testing
program. Mr. Joseph LaStella, president of GSPI, stated, This is
the first time that the global academic, scientific and commercial
communities have voluntarily agreed to collectively work and share
scientific data for the good of humanity without any monetary
compensation. Algae research, the new alternative energy rising
star, is now being accepted as the ultimate near term simultaneous
solution to the fuel crisis, global warming and food shortages.
Ongoing interest in algae biodiesel has fueled a race toward
commercialization, which many believe to be five or more years
away. On May 22, 2008, Green Star Products announced that a major
breakthrough has been achieved which substantially increases the
algae growth rate of certain strains of microalgae. It further
stated that the Montana Micronutrient Booster (MMB) formula could
increase the total biomass quantity in a harvest algae growth cycle
by well over 100%. Green Star will make this product available
throughout the world. Samples are available for all research,
university and commercial facilities if participating organizations
agree to share their growth research data concerning the growth
booster. This data will be available via Green Stars free
informational algae website to the world. This joint global
research effort can accelerate the commercial worldwide production
of algae. Joseph LaStella also stated, This breakthrough formula
is too important to the algae processing industry for any single
company to hold for their personal use. Microalgae production holds
real answers to the many serious problems facing the world today,
including global fuel shortages, global warming and food supply
shortages. Participants should be congratulated on their
willingness to collectively work together on this humanitarian
project (see press release dated May 22, 2008, for details and
research pictures). Green Star Products, Inc. (OTC:GSPI) is an
