On September 14, 2005, American Medical Technologies, Inc. ("AMT") (OTCBB:ADLI) filed a lawsuit against Velopex International, Inc. of St. Cloud, Florida for allegedly infringing an AMT patent. This patent, US Patent No. 5,275,561, is owned by AMT and protects a variety of dental air abrasion methods. The lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court, Southern District of Texas and seeks both monetary damages and injunctive relief against further alleged infringement by Velopex and those acting in concert with Velopex. The KCP(TM) product line and recently introduced Hydrobrasion(TM) technology lessens patient sensitivity and may be used to treat a patient without anesthesia. AMT, headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, develops and manufactures advanced technologies in the field of dentistry and industry and markets them worldwide.
