Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TCC) ("Tarsis" or "the Company") is pleased
to provide details of its 2011 exploration on the Rogue and recently acquired
Plata East prospects, east central Yukon.

The Company conducted reconnaissance-style exploration that comprised stream
sediment and soil geochemical sampling, prospecting and cursory geological
mapping on its Rogue prospect and a number of grass-roots targets identified
nearby. The targets described represent sediment-hosted silver and/or gold
prospects within the Selwyn Basin.

Rogue Prospect

The Rogue prospect is underlain by the Selwyn Basin stratigraphy where highly
anomalous silver-in-soil values were reported from historic geochemical
sampling. Stream sediment sampling conducted by Tarsis yielded values ranging
from 0.1 g/t to 4.3 g/t silver. The stream sediment samples also returned
anomalous results for pathfinder elements arsenic (12 ppm to 251 ppm), mercury
(0.1 to 1.7 ppm), antimony (0.5 to 148.5 ppm), thallium (0.16 to 1.28 ppm) and
zinc (94 to 5,340 ppm).

Soil sampling carried out at one location included the collection of 18 soil
samples (across a slope, spaced 25 meters apart) that returned values ranging
from 2.7 g/t to 15.9 g/t silver, averaging 7.9 g/t. Mercury values were also
strongly elevated (0.1 ppm to 17.1 ppm) while gold values ranged from below
detection to 41 ppb.

Cursory prospecting did not identify the source of the anomalous silver values,
however, given the tenor of the soil and stream sediment response for silver,
the Company believes further exploration is warranted.

Plata East Prospect

The Plata East target is located approximately seven kilometers east of the
Plata airstrip and 20 kilometers east of the Rogue prospect. The Plata East
target was identified through analysis of government geochemical sampling which
yielded anomalous thallium in stream sediment response of 1.17 ppm within
stratigraphy considered prospective for sediment-hosted gold mineralization. The
Company staked 72 claims to cover the anomalous results.

The claim block is underlain by Mississippian to Permian interbedded calcareous
siltstones, shales, cherts and minor dolostones and limestones deposited in a
shelf environment unconformably above stratigraphy of the Selwyn Basin.
Stratigraphy has been subjected to local thrusting and subsequent brittle
faulting believed to be associated with mineralization identified on the
property and a nearby minfile occurrence.

Sixty-one rock samples representing a number alteration styles were collected
during prospecting traverses and assay results returned values ranging from
below detection to 0.74 g/t gold. The sample of gossanous float returning
elevated gold response also yielded 7.43 g/t silver, 354 ppm arsenic and 2.08
ppm mercury.
