Wells Fargo Supports California State Quarter Launch SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wells Fargo & Company said today it will be the exclusive sponsor of the limited edition California State Quarter. The commemorative coin will be sold in bi-fold packets for $5 and will be available at its history museums throughout California, the California State History Museum Store, the State Capitol Museum Store and via the California State Library Foundation website at http://www.cslfdn.org/ . Sale proceeds will go to the California State History Museum. The California State Quarter is being launched at the California State History Museum, located in Sacramento. It is the first state quarter to be released in 2005 as part of the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters program that began in 1999. The bi-fold packets will not be sold at Wells Fargo retail locations.
