This new introductory fare is also available from Boston. The roundtrip fare to Shanghai from Houston, Cleveland, Miami, New Orleans and several additional cities is $888. In addition, customers traveling on the new flight between March 25 and May 31, receive 10,000 OnePass bonus miles. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 28, 2009, for travel commencing March 25 through April 30, 2009. A seven-day minimum stay is required and travel must be completed by June 30, 2009. International taxes and fees of up to $95, passenger facility charges of up to $18 and a Sept. 11 security fee of up to $10 will be added to the fare. The Newark Liberty to Shanghai service provides daily nonstop flights to the largest U.S.-China market that today lacks daily service, linking the world's financial center and top business and tourism destination with China's center for finance and trade.
