Zoetis 3Q Net Profit, Revenue Climb

Zoetis Inc. reported more in profit and net sales for its third
quarter than in the year-earlier period.
Zoetis, an animal-health company, said Thursday that earnings
were $479 million, or $1 a share. The company's profit a year
earlier was $433 million, or 90 cents a share.
Adjusted earnings were $1.10 a share. According to FactSet,
analysts had been expecting 91 cents a share.
Revenue rose 13% to $1.79 billion, the company said. Analysts
had been expecting $1.63 billion.
