WIA Declares Monthly Dividend for March

Western Asset/Claymore U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities
Fund (NYSE:WIA) today declared its monthly dividend of $0.052500
per share. This represents a distribution rate of 5.30% based upon
the closing market price of $11.88 on February 28, 2006. Dividends
will be paid on March 31, 2006 to shareholders of record as of
March 15, 2006. The ex-dividend date will be March 13, 2006.
