Senior Executive Named Vice President and Executive Director,
Contracts and Procurement FAIRFAX, Va., Jan. 8

Mark D. Connel has joined SRA as Vice President and Executive
Director, Contracts and Procurement. He will direct SRA's
negotiation and administration of government contracts and all
related subcontracts and procurements. Connel will also serve as
the Company's lead executive for implementing contract policy and
compliance with applicable regulations. Connel has more than 26
years of experience in contract management oversight,
implementation, and administration. Before joining SRA, he served
as Senior Vice President for Administration and Director of
Contracts for the Intelligence and Security (I&S) Group at
Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). In that
role, he managed I&S Group contracting, property, and pricing
policy and processes; staffing of contracts personnel; and proposal
support. He has also held other contract and procurement management
positions, both at SAIC and with Boeing Information Services and
The Boeing Company. This experience included integrating 43
contracts process teams following the merger of Boeing with
Rockwell International and McDonnell Douglas Corporation, and
leading a contract administration staff on a $1.6 billion
