Company to Provide Information Technology Services to Support
Disaster Credit Management System FAIRFAX, Va., April 3
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a
leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services
and solutions to federal government organizations, announced that
it has been awarded a task order by the Small Business
Administration (SBA). SRA will provide information technology (IT)
services to support SBA's Disaster Credit Management System (DCMS),
a Web-enabled electronic loan application processing system to
accelerate the direct loan-making process used in assisting
disaster victims. The task order, awarded under the Chief
Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIO-SP2i)
contract, has an estimated value of $54.1 million over five years
if all options are exercised. The SBA plays a major role in the
government's disaster relief efforts by making low-interest
recovery loans to both homeowners and businesses. SBA's Office of
Disaster Assistance has undertaken a disaster credit modernization
initiative to improve the efficiency, quality, and timeliness of
disaster loan processing. SRA has supported DCMS since 2002 with
systems integration, database engineering, commercial off-the-shelf
integration, and user training. Under this new contract, SRA will
continue to upgrade the system to support increased loan processing
activity by implementing software changes and hardware upgrades,
maintaining software and hardware architecture, updating system
documentation, providing ongoing support to DCMS users, and
supporting all IT operations associated with the system. The SRA
team includes Absulon Technology Partners, Inc.; Beckett
Consulting, Inc.; Cormac Corporation; iGenesis Corp.;
SuperSolutions Corporation; and Unisys Corporation. "SRA is proud
to contribute to a system that is helping businesses and families
recover from disasters," said Kathleen Adams, SRA Senior Vice
President, Civil Sector. "Over the past several months, we have
worked with SBA to successfully scale the system to meet the higher
demand created by the 2005 hurricanes. We will continue to focus on
user satisfaction and sustaining and improving the reliability and
availability of the system." About SRA International, Inc. SRA is a
