U.S. Department of Justice Awards $80M Task Order to SRA Company to
Provide Information Technology Services to Office of Justice
Programs FAIRFAX, Va., June 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA
International, Inc. (NYSE:SRX), a leading provider of information
technology (IT) services and solutions to federal government
organizations, announced that it has been awarded a competitive
task order by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide IT systems
development, maintenance, and integration services to the Office of
Justice Programs (OJP). The task order was awarded to Systems
Research and Applications Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of
SRA International, Inc., under the Information Technology Support
Services-3 contract. It has an estimated value of $80 million over
6 years if all options are exercised. OJP provides federal
leadership in developing our nation's capacity to prevent and
control crime, improve the criminal and juvenile justice systems,
increase knowledge about crime, and assist crime victims. SRA will
be responsible for developing, enhancing, integrating, and
maintaining systems, including two major OJP systems: (1) the
Grants Management System, together with Grants.gov, automates the
application and approval process for the $8 billion in federal
funds OJP grants to state, local, and private organizations, and
(2) the Integrated Financial Management Information System, the
chief financial accounting system for OJP operations, as well as
its grant programs. Services provided will include program
management; systems design, development, and integration; data
administration and management; Web development and operations; and
