Enhanced Customer Offerings SAN DIEGO, Nov. 8
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nimax, a division of Ingram Micro
(NYSE:IM) and the only AIDC/POS-focused distributor to provide
access to comprehensive IT solutions, today announces the launch of
its Data Capture Practice Group, which was created to increase
knowledge sharing, and drive growth through business leads and
extending the services capabilities of Nimax and Ingram Micro
customers. Nimax officially unveiled its Data Capture Practice
Group in September to a targeted list of AIDC/POS and RFID-focused
integrators and is now recruiting key integrator customers as
service providers. The practice group will provide expertise and
data-capture services that can be tapped by Ingram Micro and Nimax
solution providers. The first organization of its kind in the data
capture industry, the group will deliver professional and break/fix
services support for AIDC/POS and RFID deals through the Ingram
Micro Services Network (IMSN). The IMSN is a world-class technical
services delivery business providing pre- and post-sales
professional, consultative, and break/fix services across 800 North
American markets. The practice group will help to drive business
development through shared leads, and by delivering implementation
and design knowledge from service providers to fellow integrators
who have landed deals that involve the data-capture technologies.
In 2006, the services of practice group members will be available
to all markets that IMSN serves. All participants must be signed
members of IMSN to take advantage of sales leads and implementation
support. IMSN is offering a shortened application process for
lead-only members, and service providers are being certified in
their area of expertise. Interested solution providers should call
their Nimax or Ingram Micro sales representative for more
information. Opening Doors To New Markets In addition to the new
