Graña y Montero Signs Contract with LAMSAC for the “Via Expresa Línea Amarilla” Project

Graña y Montero S.A.A. (NYSE: GRAM) (BVL: GRAMONC1) (“the
Company” or “Graña y Montero”) a leading Engineering and
Construction company, announced today that its subsidiary GyM S.A.
has subscribed a Construction Contract with Linea Amarilla S.A.C.
(LAMSAC) in order to complete the execution of the “Via Expresa
Linea Amarilla” project. The total amount of the service is of
approximately S/. 464,476,000.00 in addition to the general sales
tax.
This new construction section includes the section 2 of the Via
Expresa Linea Amarilla and covers 9 km in length. It includes 10
viaducts, a 1.8 km tunnel under Rímac River, 3 toll booths and the
Bella Union bridge.
About LAMSAC
LAMSAC is a Peruvian Company in charge of the Via Expresa Linea
Amarilla Concession, which was awarded by the Metropolitan
Municipality of Lima in 2009. It is a concession of 25 kilometers
which includes a total of 16 km of the Via Evitamiento, from Javier
Prado until Habich roundabout, as well as a new 9km expressway
which starts at the Huáscar Bridge, District of San Juan de
Lurigancho, and ends in Carmen de la Legua, Callao border. This
work will integrate eleven districts of Lima, contributing to
traffic modernization and revaluation of the city.
