Robinhood Makes Several Hot Stocks Unavailable for New Trades

Dow Jones News

Trading app Robinhood appears to have limited access to several
stocks that have surged the past week from its platform.
Screenshots show some users were unable to search for stocks
including GameStop Inc., Nokia Corp. and AMC Entertainment Holdings
Inc., all of which have been heavily talked up on Reddit's
WallStreetBets forum.
Other users reported seeing messages saying they would be able
to close out their positions, but not be able to purchase
additional shares of the companies.
The move comes a day after brokerages TD Ameritrade and Charles
Schwab imposed restrictions
(https://www.wsj.com/articles/trading-surge-strains-online-brokerages-11611692363)
on trading in GameStop, AMC and other securities, citing
unprecedented market conditions.
