--Ford has paused production and stopped shipments of its electric F-150 Lightning pickup truck due to a potential problem with its battery, CNBC reports.

--The automaker ordered to stop shipments of these electric vehicles at the beginning of last week and is currently investigating its batteries, Ford's spokeswoman Emma Bergg told CNBC.

--Dealers can continue to sell the F-150 Lightning vehicles they have for sale despite this call, Bergg told CNBC.
