Criticare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:CMD) today announced that as of September 1, 2005, the company will become the direct point of contact for the entire customer base of Alaris Vital Check(R) monitors. Cardinal Health, Alaris products, has formally notified their monitoring customers of this pending change. The installed base exceeds 1000 locations with a monitor population in excess of 20,000 units worldwide. Criticare manufactured and has serviced these products through the Alaris organization for the past seven years. The addition of this direct customer base opens a significant opportunity for Criticare. To prepare for the transition, a sales team exclusive to these accounts has been added to the Criticare sales network. It is being lead by a seasoned sales executive brought into the company earlier this year. While the formal transition date is September 1, 2005, Criticare will begin support of the customer base as of July 1, 2005.
