ZenaTech To Execute Series of Acquisitions to Launch Drone-as-a-Service
(Toronto, Ontario, November 19th, 2024) ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) (FSE: 49Q) ("ZenaTech"), a technology company specializing in AI (Artificial Intelligence) drone solutions and enterprise SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions, announces today that it will pursue a series of acquisitions to launch its Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) operations. These acquisitions have the potential to dramatically increase company revenue and will underpin its Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) business by integrating ZenaDrone’s drone technology into the target company operations.
The DaaS business model allows business customers such as farmers, oil and gas companies, environmental firms, or government departments to utilize a complete drone solution for a specific application─ i.e. a crop management, inspection, safety, or compliance application, and purchase it on a pay-as-you-go basis rather than having to buy the entire drone hardware and software solution. This business model provides cost-effective access to the enhanced productivity benefits and AI capabilities offered by drone technology to optimize operations and eliminate manual processes. ZenaDrone’s multifunction AI drones will be offered in the DaaS business model both directly by the company and through its business partners.
“Organic growth and growth by acquisition have always been a cornerstone of our strategy. This series of new acquisitions includes approximately 20 identified company targets with several currently at the negotiation stage. These acquisitions have the potential to add significant revenue and will power the roll-out of our innovative DaaS business globally,” said CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D.
ZenaTech has secured financing for this series of acquisitions from current shareholders. For more information, please refer to the Company’s Form 6-K filing which can be accessed on the SEC website.

ZenaTech Plans to Disrupt the Land Survey Industry with Drones, Signs LOI for Land Survey Company Acquisition
(Toronto, Ontario, December 05, 2024) ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) (FSE: 49Q) ("ZenaTech"), a technology company specializing in AI (Artificial Intelligence) drone solutions and enterprise SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions, announces today that it has signed an LOI (Letter of Intent) to acquire its first land survey company, part of a larger roll-up strategy to disrupt the land survey industry by accelerating the use of drones for speed, accuracy and innovation benefits. The signed agreement is with a Florida-based company, which will form the base of the DaaS (Drone-as-a-Service) business in the Southeast US region.
“This is a crucial step in the establishment of our DaaS strategy, which includes the disruption of an established land survey business ecosystem. We have a unique opportunity to significantly disrupt the land survey business through drone technologies and the DaaS business model. This is analogous to the way Uber disrupted the taxi industry. We believe these acquisitions have the potential to add significant revenue and power the roll-out of our DaaS business in the US and globally,” said CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D.
The US Surveying and Mapping Services industry is estimated at $10.3 billion according to Business Research Insights, growing at least 3% annually. Remotely piloted and autonomous drones with an array of sensors and cameras, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), and GPS systems for capturing high-resolution pictures and data are revolutionizing the land survey industry. Aerial data across expansive terrains can be gathered and analyzed in a matter of hours instead of the typical weeks or months required using traditional methods.
Accurate land surveys are essential for the planning, design, and execution of roads, bridges, and building projects for cities, commercial, and residential projects, and are required for legal purposes. ZenaTech is focused on smaller land survey engineering firms with an overseeing licensed Surveyor-in-Charge, a valuable designation that takes years to achieve. The use of drones requires FAA licensing and drone expertise, hardware, and software that ZenaDrone will bring to the transaction.
ZenaTech’s DaaS business model allows governments, farmers, oil and gas companies, environmental firms, etc. to utilize a complete drone solution for a specific application─ i.e. land surveying, crop management, inspection, safety, or compliance application, and purchase it on a pay-as-you-go basis rather than having to buy the entire drone hardware and software solution. This business model provides cost-effective access to the
enhanced productivity benefits and AI capabilities offered by drone technology to optimize time, improve precision, and eliminate outdated or manual processes.
ZenaDrone’s multifunction AI drones will be offered in the DaaS business model both directly by the company and through its business partners.

ZenaTech’s Signs Blue UAS and NDAA Compliant Supply Chain Partners to Sell to US Defense Branches and NATO Forces
(Toronto, Ontario, November 21, 2024) ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) (FSE: 49Q) ("ZenaTech"), a technology company specializing in AI (Artificial Intelligence) drone solutions and enterprise SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions, announces that it has signed Blue Unmanned Arial Systems (UAS) and US National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant partner agreements for its supply chain in order to sell its ZenaDrone 1000 AI drone solutions to US Defense branches and to NATO forces. Through its subsidiary ZenaDrone, the Company recently participated in a Taiwan Trade Mission organized by the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) that directly resulted in these partnerships.
ZenaTech can now confirm that all ZenaDrone’s electrical components and supply chain will comply with NDAA standards. ZenaDrone previously completed paid trials with both the US Airforce and US Naval Research using its drones for carrying critical cargo -- such as blood -- in the field.
“Our strategic relationship with the Arizona Commerce Authority has resulted in these important NDAA-compliant partners needed in order to qualify for the Blue UAS list. The next step is to complete the Green UAS list process, then we will be ready for the Blue UAS certification to be able to execute our plans to do more business with military organizations in the US, NATO and beyond,” said CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D.
NDAA compliance refers to adhering to the provisions outlined in the National Defense Authorization Act, which is a set of US federal laws passed every year that specify the budget and expenditures for the Department of Defense (DoD) and address growing cybersecurity concerns. For a product to be NDAA compliant, it must not be produced by a set list of Chinese manufacturers. This provision extends to products, chipsets, cameras, displays, and other technology used.
The Blue UAS program is a stringent government approved supplier list of drone companies that wish to do business with the US DoD. Suppliers must meet strict NDAA cyber security and supply chain sourcing requirements. The Green UAS program is essential, the same as the blue UAS program, only with a more streamlined and faster process and without the specifications on country of origin for manufacturing.
The ACA is a longstanding ZenaDrone partner and Arizona will be the site for DoD demonstrations. The company plans to host these demonstrations in the Arizona desert near the ZenaDrone offices in Phoenix.

The signed agreement is with an established land survey engineering firm located in the Southern area of the US, adding another potential acquisition to the one previously announced in the Southeast US region, adding to the roll out of ZenaTech’s Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) business in the US.
“This signed LOI to acquire a second US land survey company will further expedite our DaaS strategy to bring AI drone hardware, software, and expertise to innovate and improve the operations of many traditional business verticals. We are currently working through negotiations on a pipeline of over 20 acquisitions. It is exciting to have the opportunity to be the first drone company to launch a DaaS business model at scale, adding the potential for significant revenue in the US and globally,” said CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D.
Drone-as-a-Service, like Software-as-a-Service, is a subscription-based or pay-as-you-go service model where business users can benefit from the efficiencies of using a drone solution in their business for a variety of applications from surveillance, and inspection, to compliance and safety and specific industry applications, on a regular or periodic basis instead of having to buy or physically own the hardware, software and acquire the expertise needed to implement. Companies in a variety of verticals like the land survey industry, where drones are just starting to be regularly used, can benefit from the innovation, speed, and precision of drones while saving on having to make a costly investment and qualifying for the US FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and other regulatory and pilot certifications that are required.
The US Surveying and Mapping Services industry is estimated at $10.3 billion according to Business Research Insights, growing at least 3% annually. Remotely piloted and autonomous drones with an array of sensors and cameras, LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), and GPS systems for capturing high-resolution pictures and data are positioned to revolutionize the industry.
ZenaTech is focused on smaller land survey engineering firms with a valuable network of clients and licensed surveyors and a Surveyor-in-Charge, designations that take years to achieve.
ZenaTech’s DaaS business model will target multiple US sectors and customers such as governments, farmers, oil and gas companies, warehouse and logistics customers, and environmental firms, enabling them to utilize a complete drone application using the ZenaDrone 1000 multifunction autonomous drone or the IQ Nano compact indoor/outdoor autonomous drone.

ZenaTech Launches Quantum Computing Project for Traffic Optimization and Weather Forecasting using Drones
(Toronto, Ontario, December 12, 2024) ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) (FSE: 49Q) ("ZenaTech"), a technology company specializing in AI (Artificial Intelligence) drone solutions, Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS), Quantum Computing solutions, and enterprise SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions, today announces the launch of a Quantum Computing project for traffic optimization and weather forecasting using the company’s drones. The project, called Sky Traffic, was developed following interest received from a government client to use the company’s ZenaDrone 1000 drones to monitor vehicle traffic.
The project will provide real-time traffic data to both the government agency and to drivers, with a goal of improving the precision, accuracy and speed of information to optimize functions such as traffic flows and routing, traffic signal management, public safety, and deployment of government services. This is achieved by accessing larger datasets and more computing power more rapidly than current methods. ZenaTech’s Quantum Computing team will leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) as its computing platform to manage the project. The company also plans to utilize Sky Traffic with ZenaDrone 1000 drones in weather radar applications for faster and more precise weather forecasting.
“The Sky Traffic project is an important and exciting application of our product capabilities and team knowledge into the Quantum Computing area. Integrating quantum computing with AI-driven drones will revolutionize how we analyze and respond to complex data, enabling faster, more accurate decision-making and unlocking new possibilities in automation, efficiency, and real-time problem-solving,” said CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D.
Quantum computing is an emergent field of cutting-edge computer science harnessing the unique qualities of quantum mechanics to solve problems beyond the ability of even the most powerful classical computers of today, to process massively complicated mathematical problems and data at orders of magnitude faster speeds.
Drones are used by governments to monitor and improve road traffic by providing real-time aerial surveillance of traffic conditions, and identifying congestion, accidents, and bottlenecks. Equipped with cameras, sensors, and GPS, drones can collect data on vehicle flow, enabling authorities to optimize traffic signals, redirect traffic, and plan infrastructure improvements and emergency management based on real-time insights. Quantum Computing can supercharge the speed and precision of these applications.
Drones are used in weather forecasting to collect real-time atmospheric data from hard-to-reach areas, such as storm systems or remote regions, providing valuable input for weather models. Quantum computers can then analyze this vast and complex data much faster and more accurately, improving weather predictions and enhancing the ability to forecast extreme events like hurricanes or tornadoes.
