Stratos Enhances Its Specialty Fiber Assembly Offerings to Include Volume Production Capabilities and More CHICAGO, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Stratos Lightwave LLC is announcing the availability of several new services and technologies to support users of high-end optical fiber terminations and assemblies; products commonly known as "specialty fiber assemblies." These advanced offerings include enhanced laser machining capabilities and multi-fiber feedthroughs for hermetic packaging. New state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities allow Stratos to produce these sophisticated assemblies in large-scale production volumes, with 100% inspection of finished items using technologies such as automated image analysis.
