Porter Bancorp, Inc. Declares 5% Stock Dividend

Porter Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: PBIB), parent company of PBI Bank, announced today that its Board of Directors declared a 5% stock dividend. The dividend is payable on November 19, 2009, to shareholders of record as of November 12, 2009. Fractional shares arising from the stock dividend will be rounded up to the nearest whole share and will be credited to shareholders. The stock dividend is in addition to Porter Bancorp’s quarterly cash dividend.

As a result of the stock dividend, our outstanding shares will increase by approximately 417,000 to approximately 8.8 million.”
