INX Awarded Contract to Deploy Unified Communications and Wireless Solution for City of McAllen

announced today that it has won a contract to design and deploy a
unified communications and wireless solution for the City of
McAllen, Texas.
The City of McAllen selected INX to provide an advanced unified
communication and wireless network solution that will centralize
communications and improve city safety. Having been engaged
previously with McAllen to migrate existing voice technology, INX
will design and deploy a unified communication solution that will
grow the city’s existing IP-based phone system and transition the
McAllen Police Department to IP technology. The solution also
includes deployment of a wireless system that will support a new
communication and video surveillance system to improve customer
service and provider a safer city environment. The solution will
enable McAllen to meet larger critical objectives the city has for
streamlining communications and enabling efficient interactions for
the citizens of McAllen.
