The full service banking office opened for business on April 23, 2007 and is First South Bank's second office in the Raleigh-Durham and Triangle market area. This office is a full service branch that includes an ATM, drive thru window and a commercial night depository. The new full service branch may be reached by phone at 919-403-1000. The focus of the new Durham full service branch will be on marketing First South Bank's loan and deposit products and services to local businesses, professionals, mortgage customers, residential home builders, commercial builders and individual borrowers and depositors. Joe Johnson, who has 28 years banking experience in the Durham market area, will continue to serve as Senior Vice President and City Executive; Jeff Wray with 6 years experience will serve as a commercial lender; Michelle Winfrey with 15 years experience will be the loan officer assistant and retail sales associate; and Terry Batson with 19 years experience and Marie Thomas with 17 years experience will serve as customer service associates for the new office.
