State of Mississippi and Catalyst Rx Announce Contract Extension

Catalyst Rx, the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) subsidiary of Catalyst Health Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHSI), announced today the one-year extension of its PBM contract with Mississippi�s State and School Employees Health Insurance Management Board. The State of Mississippi and Catalyst Rx entered into a four-year agreement effective January 1, 2006, that included an option to extend the contract for a fifth year, which the State elected to exercise. The newly extended contract is active through December 31, 2010, and covers approximately 190,000 active and retired employees, as well as their eligible dependents.
