Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

In response to the impacts of COVID-19 on the business of Cardtronics plc (the “Company”), effective April 1, 2020, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer has elected to take a temporary 40% reduction in his base salary. All company employees, including our other executive officers will take a temporary 20% reduction in their base salaries. The Company’s Board of Directors has also elected to take a temporary 40% reduction in their annual cash retainer fees, effective April 1, 2020. The Company is also implementing workplace furloughs in certain parts of the business.

On April 1, 2020, the Company issued a press release providing a business update relating to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
