American Mold Guard, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMGI), the mold prevention company, announced today the addition of a dedicated Midwest division. The expansion leverages AMG's well-established relationships with a growing group of clients throughout Texas, who are served by the company's Houston offices. AMG provides prevention expertise for toxic mold threats to residential single-family (tract and custom), multi-family and commercial builders and developers in Texas, California, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida. "A recent study found Texas to be the most at-risk state for mold contamination in commercial and residential properties," said Tom Blakeley, CEO of American Mold Guard. The AMG service protects both builders and homeowners from the financial risks associated with mold contamination." AMG also announced today the hiring of Chad D. Clayton to serve as regional vice president of the company's Midwest division. Clayton's responsibilities will include developing and supporting an increasing amount of business in major metropolitan areas, including San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, as well as the growing markets further north in Oklahoma and Kansas City. Prior to joining AMG, Clayton served as a construction project manager at Centex Destination Properties, managing a $500 million project comprising more than 1,000 acres at a beachfront resort. For the past decade, Clayton has served in managerial roles at several other homebuilding and construction companies in Texas.
