Information technology solutions and services provider Computacenter PLC (CCC.LN) said Tuesday it has sold its trade distribution division CCD to Ingram Micro (IM), to focus on services and solutions for end-user customers.

The company said the sale will reduce annualized revenue by GBP80 million and will have "some negative impact" on profits, but wouldn't damp its expectations for 2009 or 2010.

Computacenter also said the disposal will involve the transfer of 40 employees and zero gross assets while the unwinding of working capital used in the business and proceeds from the sale will generate in excess of GBP20 million of free cash over the coming few months.

No financial details of the sale were disclosed.

At 0855 GMT shares traded up 4 pence, or 1.4%, at 300 pence compared with the FTSE 250 - up 0.23%
