On December 11, 2023, Mark Schuessler, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. dba Radius Recycling (the
“Company”), informed the Company of his intention to resign from employment with the Company for personal reasons effective January 31, 2024. Mr. Schuessler’s decision to resign is voluntary and is not as a result of any disagreement with the
Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices.
