Henkel Produces Hand Disinfectants for German Hospitals

Henkel AG & Co. KGaA said Thursday that it is producing hand
disinfectants to donate to hospitals fighting the coronavirus
pandemic in Germany.
The maker of Dial soap and Purex laundry detergent said it has
used its production facility in Dusseldorf to produce 25,000 liters
of hand disinfectants for hospitals and public institutions in the
western Germany city. It said it plans to produce and donate
another 25,000 liters over the coming weeks.
Henkel also said it will donate 2 million euros ($2.19 million)
to different funds and organizations, including the Covid-19
Solidarity Response Fund.
