EXPLANATORY NOTE

On November 13, 2017, MediWound Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release entitled “Tel Aviv District Court Ordered MediWound to Purchase Approximately $1.5 Million of PolyHeal Shares; MediWound Weighing an Appeal.” A copy of this press release is attached to this Form 6-K as Exhibit 99.1.
