Zamansky LLC announces that it is investigating Axon Enterprises
Inc. (AAXN) for potential breaches of fiduciary duties to
shareholders. Axon, which was formerly named Taser International,
is a manufacturer of electrical weapons and body cameras which it

On October 19, 2017, Axon disclosed that it had received a
letter of inquiry from the SEC relating to the review of its annual
and quarterly reports. The previous day SeekingAlpha published a
negative research report by Aparecium Research which raised
numerous questions about Axon’s alleged accounting and business
practices. The research report raised issues over whether Axon had
allegedly inflated and overstated its revenues by improperly
recognizing revenue upfront, while deferring associated costs.
Axon’s stock has been damaged by these allegations.
