European Economics Preview: Eurozone Current Account Data Due

Current account data from euro area is due on Friday, headlining
a light day for the European economic news.
At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's producer
prices for April. Economists forecast producer prices to rise 3.2
percent annually, following a 3.1 percent rise in March.
At 4.00 am ET, the European Central Bank releases euro area
current account figures for March. The current account surplus
totaled EUR 37.9 billion in February.
At 6.00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry is slated
to release Industrial Trends survey data. The industrial order book
balance is forecast to remain unchanged at 4 percent in May.
At 8.00 am ET, the Central Statistical Office is scheduled to
issue Poland's industrial output and producer prices data.
Economists forecast output to fall 10.6 percent on month in April
following a 17.6 percent decrease in March.
Producer price inflation is seen easing to 4.5 percent in April
from 4.7 percent in March.
