                 Braemar Shipping Services plc (the "Company")

The Company was informed on Friday 4 April 2008 that Alan Marsh, Chief
Executive, on 03 April 2008 sold 500,000 ordinary shares to his wife, for
reasons of tax planning, at a price of 434p.

Accordingly, Mr Marsh remains beneficially interested in 1,170,002 ordinary
shares, representing 5.59 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.

The Company has also been informed that Denis Petropoulos, an Executive Director
of the Company on 4 April 2008 sold 23,100 ordinary shares into his pension fund
at a price of 430p to his pension fund.

Accordingly, Mr Petropoulos remains beneficially interested in 568,191 ordinary
shares, representing 2.76 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.

Finally, the Company has also been informed that Quentin Soanes, an Executive
Director of the Company sold 36,000 ordinary shares into his pension fund at a
price of 430.875p. to his pension fund on 4 April 2008.

Mr Soanes remains beneficially interested in 1,164,010 ordinary shares,
representing 5.66 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
