The Company has today been notified that the Braemar Shipping Services plc
Employee Share Option Plan (the "ESOP") has acquired the following ordinary
shares in the Company:

Accordingly, the ESOP now holds 567,895 ordinary shares in Braemar Shipping

ordinary share capital.
