-- According to the report, William Evanina said officials have warned LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), about the Chinese campaign.

-- Mr. Evanina said LinkedIn should consider purging fake accounts, similar to what Twitter, Google and Facebook have done, the report said.
