Yaury Jattin, a principal in Corporate Tax Solutions for Grant
Thornton Advisors LLC, has been named to the South Florida Business
Journal’s Diverse Voices list. The awards recognize individuals in
the South Florida region who champion diversity, equity and
inclusion initiatives within their workplace and communities.
With nearly two decades of experience, Jattin provides a broad
range of tax compliance and consulting services primarily focused
on federal corporate and partnership tax matters. Since joining
Grant Thornton in 2021, the Venezuela native has broadened the
firm’s services, utilizing her diverse background and bilingual
skills to better serve clients with international operations.
Scott Mager, Grant Thornton’s South Florida market managing
principal, commends Jattin on her success.
“Yaury has been an indispensable part of the team, using her
extensive experience to make an impact on our clients and our
firm,” said Mager. “This award is a testament to her professional
skills, her passion and her dedication to harnessing her diverse
background to drive success.”
Jattin’s focus on diversity has influenced both her firm and her
local community. She actively engages in recruiting efforts at her
alma mater, Florida International University, and is an executive
sponsor of Grant Thornton’s business resource group (BRG) for
Hispanics and Latinx professionals. In this role, she spearheads
initiatives to attract, develop and elevate diverse talent within
the firm, often helping young professionals carve out successful
careers in professional services and, in turn, enhance the
diversity of her profession.
“Diversity is one of the business world’s ultimate strengths,”
said Jattin. “Whether it’s bonding over shared languages, learning
a different culture’s customs or connecting with people of
different backgrounds, a diverse and inclusive culture improves
everything we do for each other and our clients. That’s why this
award means so much to me, and I hope it inspires others to embrace
what makes them unique — and share it with their teammates.”
