BATON ROUGE, La., July 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. David Duke officially announces for U.S. Senate
race in Louisiana at 12 pm Central Time. Baton Rouge Secretary of
State office.
Background/Political History: Dr. David
Duke has a Ph.D. in History. Republican Member House of
Representatives-LA (1989-1992). Republican Caucus. Passed only
bill in any legislative body that outlawed racially discriminatory
Affirmative Action.
Won the Vice-Presidential Primary in New Hampshire in 1988. In a rare political
feat as a Republican he defeated and unseated Rep. Governor
Buddy Roemer. Won election in 1996
as Republican Party Chairman in the largest Rep. district in
Louisiana and served until
2000.
Dr. Duke Announcement quotes:
"After the outpouring of overwhelming support I am proud to
announce my candidacy for the United
States Senate.
Political Platform:
"I believe in equal rights for all and respect for all
Americans; however, what makes me different is that I also demand
respect for the rights and heritage of European Americans. I passed
the only bill in America forbidding Affirmative Action programs
that racially discriminate against the best qualified.
"Thousands of special interest groups stand up for African
Americans, Mexican Americans, Jewish Americans. The fact is
that European Americans need at least one man in the U.S. Senate
who will defend their rights and heritage.
"Stop the massive immigration and the ethnic cleansing of
the people whose forefathers created America.
"I was the first major candidate in modern times to promote the
term and policy of America First. We
cannot have free trade without FAIR TRADE. Protect American jobs
and business.
"Total Campaign Reform: Time to end all political PAC money
and control of politics by the Oligarchs of finance and
media.
"We must enforce anti-trust laws to break up the huge
anti-American media conglomerates.
"The NY Times admits that my platform became the GOP mainstream
and propelled Republicans to control Congress. They sold us out. I
am overjoyed to see Donald Trump and
most Americans embrace most of the issues that I have championed for years. My slogan
remains America First. I always said
equal rights for all, special interests for none. I have opposed
the wars that lead our nation to disaster. I have supported fair
trade.
"The people of Louisiana and America must have at least one
man in the Senate who will stand up for us."
