Energy & Engine Technology Corporation Announces First Orders
& Anticipated Fulfillment of Its AXP 1000 Unit PLANO, Texas,
Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energy & Engine Technology
Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: EENT) (EENT) announced today that it
has received confirmed orders to purchase 20 of the Company's AXP
1000 devices. With an aggregate total purchase price in excess of
$100,000, the confirmed orders are all either pre-approved for
lease financing or cash commitments. The Company's management
anticipates that order fulfillment will commence in early November.
Energy & Engine's flagship product, the AXP 1000, is an idle
reduction technology device designed for new and retrofit
installation into semi truck tractors that provides power
generation without running a truck's engine. Powered by an EPA
approved and CARB certified engine, the AXP 1000 maintains battery
power and powers the sleeper cab thereby reducing fuel consumption,
pollution and long term truck maintenance costs. The Company's
management continues to focus on the market need set by Federal and
State regulations that limit the aggregate idling time ever
prevalent in the long haul trucking industry. Management believes
that this Federal and State regulation along with new and more
stringent regulations slated to begin in January 2004 has paved the
way for a 2.5 billion dollar industry. Industry estimates suggest
that there are over 500,000 Class 8 sleeper trucks in the U.S.
today, and the number of new Class 8 trucks entering the market has
exceeded 80,000 per year. With an average unit sales price of
$5,000 per AXP 1000 unit, management believes that even moderate
market penetration could result in significant earnings to the
Company. Anticipated metrics on unit sales project that for each
1,000 units sold, the Company generates gross revenue of
approximately $5,000,000 and net revenue of approximately
$1,000,000. Additionally, the Company's marketing efforts continue
to meet with success. EENT had extraordinary potential customer
response from its participation in the Great American Truck Show,
in Dallas, which occurred in September with an estimated 30,000
people in attendance. The AXP 1000 was featured at the American
Trucking On the Road Magazine booth and has also been advertised in
the magazine, which is estimated to have a circulation in excess of
80,000. Management is looking to continue this success by teaming
up with On the Road again for the Mid America Truck Show (MATS) in
March 2004 in Louisville, KY, which is touted to be the largest
truck show in the world, with projected attendance of over 80,000
people. About Energy & Engine Technology Corporation EENT
