Venture Production plc (the "Company" or "Venture")

Director/PDMR Shareholdings

The Company was notified on 15 June 2007 of the following changes in the
interests of a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") in the
Ordinary Shares of 0.4p each of the Company (the "Shares").

Notification under DR 3.1.4(R)(1)(a):

On 15 June 2007 Mr Jonathan Roger sold 50,000 Shares at the following prices:

20,000 at 719.32 pence per Share
20,000 at 718.46 pence per Share
10,000 at 718.91 pence per Share

representing 0.037 % of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following this transaction, Mr Roger retains an interest in 190,718 Shares held
in his own name representing 0.14 % of the issued share capital of the Company
and 5,873 Shares held in the name of Share Nominees Limited representing 0.004 %
of the issued share capital.
