Director/PDMR Shareholding

Notification Under DR 3.1.4 (R) (1) (b)

The Company was notified on 1 February 2007 that the Venture Production IOM
Employee Benefit Trust (the "Trust") had transferred 64,909 ordinary shares in
the Company to Michael John Wagstaff (Chief Executive) and 51,927 ordinary
shares in the Company to Jonathan David Murphy (Chief Operating Officer) in
accordance with the terms of the 2004 performance bonus award. Following this
transfer the Trust now has an interest in 1,946,597 ordinary shares of the
Company representing 1.50 % of the issued share capital of the Company.

On 1 February 2007 Michael John Wagstaff sold 26,693 ordinary shares in the
Company representing 0.02 % of the issued share capital of the Company at
719.25 pence per share, to cover the taxation liability arising upon receipt of
the shares. He has retained the remaining 38,216 ordinary shares.

Following this transaction Mike Wagstaff and Jon Murphy retain the following
interests:
