Venture Production plc (the "Company" or "Venture")

Director/PDMR Shareholdings

The Company was notified on 15 November 2006 of the following changes in the
interests of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR") in the
Ordinary Shares of 0.4p each of the Company (the "Shares").

Notification under DR 3.1.4(R)(1)(a):

On 9 November 2006 Mr Michael Travis, Operations Manager, transferred 63,300
Shares, representing 0.048 % of the issued share capital of the Company, to Mrs
Susan Travis. Following this transaction, Mr Travis retains an interest in
16,067 Venture Shares, representing 0.012 % of the issued share capital of the
Company.
