Uranium Resources plc, the AIM listed uranium exploration and development company, announces that Mr. Dimitri Pashov has stepped down as a Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

The Company would like to express its thanks to Mr. Pashov for his support and contribution during his time at Uranium Resources and wish him well for the future.

Mr. Pashov was a representative of Estes Limited ('Estes'), the Company's 56% strategic shareholder. It is the intention of Uranium Resources and Estes to appoint a new Non-Executive Director, and the Company will update the market on this in due course.
