From what I was reading, Lionheart seems to have strong IP for using the right frequencies, pulses or whatever to address particular therapies but they needed a machine that would allow them to program those patterns into the machine. It's like a perfect match!
If there were over 8,800 Med Spa type of locations back in 2022 and Lionheart wanted exclusive use of the machine for themselves, preventing those many thousands of other businesses from having access to it, then they certainly would have needed to cut a substantial deal with EMED. It's almost as if they would kinda like have to own it! That's just my opinion but it just seems logical to me that something like that is at play.
Optionally, I guess they could offer the patented therapy protocols along with the machine and then sell or lease it to as many other Med Spa businesses as they could. I'm sure they've got it figured out for the optimal business results, especially since both parties have been in business for a long time.
At least for me, it's a very reasonable low risk/hopefully high reward gamble!

My guess with what's at play here is that EMED will somehow share in the profits on the Med Spa profits. That's because if they just sold 124 of the new Wellness Pro Infinity units to each of the 124 locations that Lionheart Health plans on opening, that's not a lot of money for a device that might sell for $5,000 or $10,000 or more.
But since it was emphasized in one of those links that has been recently, that EMED has a large sales network around the country, those salespeople could suddenly have a whole lot more products and services to sell for Lionheart as well, helping them make a lot more money.
It really does look like a slick win/win deal for the Lionheart/EMED partnership.
