TAYLOR WOODROW SELLS WINDFARM BUSINESS
Taylor Woodrow plc announced today that its construction division has sold its
windfarm subsidiary, First Windfarm Holdings Limited, to Westbury Windfarms
Ltd, a joint venture company owned by International Wind Projects Ltd. and
Foras Energy A/S, for a cash sum of approximately #5 million.
The disposal will allow Taylor Woodrow Construction to continue its focus on
core competencies.
First Windfarm Holdings owns three windfarms, Cold Northcott in Cornwall, and
Cemmaes and Llangwyryfon, both in Wales. The three projects total 20 MW's of
nameplate capacity, comprised of 66 WEG MS3 turbines and generate
approximately 55,000 MWh's per year.

Note:
1. This disposal completes the sale of Taylor Woodrows wind energy businesses.
It follows on from the disposal, announced earlier this year, of Wind Energy
Group (WEG) - a designer and manufacturer of wind turbines, and Taywood
Aerolaminates - a design er and manufacturer of specialist wind turbine blades
to UK subsidiaries of NEG Mic on A/S of Denmark.
